This is a quick, abstract rendering I did, using Arnold for Cinema 4D, to try a technique from this Grayscale Gorilla tutorial. The tutorial uses Cinema4d materials to achieve an effect of one color in the middle and blending to another color on the exterior. I have not figured out how to achieve this effect using Arnold but I will keep experimenting. Arnold is fairly new to me and I am still learning it.
Interior Test
This is a set pf interior renderings I did to test out different post production techniques to get slightly different looks.
The Corner
The is a quick interior render I did to try out a couple of new techniques. I came across a different (for me) way of adding light glow in photoshop and I wanted to try a fur/hair material. The light glow is used on the lights and the window and the fur is played over a stool in the background. The scene was inspired (but not an exact copy) of a photo I saw on a design blog. I will soon post a quick tutorial, on my tutorial site, about the light glow.
New Interior Rendering
I added a new architectural rendering to my Personal Work - Interiors album.
After reading this article about using a photographic approach to rendering I created this scene to test some of the techniques explained in the article. This scene was meant to be similar but not an exact recreation of the scene in the article.
